In Episode 01 of STYLEBK. TV’s “The Dish”, Tully heads to Supernormal, one of Melbourne’s famous Flinders Lane restaurants. We speak to Chris Handel, the manager of Supernormal, who talks through some of their key dishes. Including their Sea Bream Sashimi, Steamed Pork Buns, Lobster Rolls and Steamed Duck Buns. We also discover their beautifully presented karaoke room downstairs, which is a hidden gem.
Acclaimed chef Andrew McConnell is co-owner of Flinders Lane restaurants, Supernormal and Cumulus. Under his belt, he also boasts Cutler & Co. in Fitzroy and Luxembourg in St Kilda. With this star studded line-up, you know you are in safe hands. The Supernormal menu offers a mouth-watering selection of asian-fusion dishes. If you are feeling adventurous, try one of their Sake’s. However, their selection of delicious cocktails, spirits and wines are also a tempting drawcard.
Supernormal is an idyllic eatery for visiting with a group of friends. Many of the dishes are share plates, creating a social and relaxed vibe. For larger group events, the downstairs karaoke bar might just be your perfect choice!
Supernormal is open from 11am til late, 7 days a week. We are in love!
