I would have to say that the Johnnie Walker marquee at Fleminton’s Spring racing carnival was probably the most fun of all the marquees I had the pleasure of attending. The music was consistently upbeat and left no-one sitting or standing still. The stunning decor was hues of pastel pink, yellow, gold and red. There were stunning backlit statues and beautiful chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. There was an oyster bar and roaming canapes throughout the day. The Johnnie Walker cocktails looked beautifully refreshing and there was the option of Champagne for the ladies also.
I popped into this Marquee on all four days and the live entertainment was so much fun. There were DJs, live singers and musicians. One of the days Jason Heerah from The X Factor jumped up on the microphone to do an impromptu performance. I thought to finish with a bang whilst writing my last Spring racing carnival article, it was only fitting to finish with an article on the Johnnie Walker marquee!
