When you think of your dream secluded beach house right at the water’s edge, this is the place you need to be visualising. It is one of the most unique, luxury resorts we think you will ever come accross. We felt so blessed to be able to stay at this stunning hideaway on our recent tour around Phuket, Thailand. It truly is a slice of heaven. What is this dream place you may ask? Well, we’re talking about Iniala Beach House. A hidden gem, tucked away on a heavenly stretch of beach just North of Phuket Airport.

Iniala, one of the best luxury Thailand resorts we’ve had the pleasure of staying in, has welcomed many interesting and highly successful guests to their blissful locale. Included in this guest list is popular American family, the Kardashians. Kim herself stayed in the Penthouse Villa, which is situated above the other villas, providing a spectacular view of the Andaman Sea.

Each villa within Iniala is given its own unique name. The rooms have been meticulously created with their own distinct vibe by designers from all corners of the world. We stayed in Villa Bianca’s impressive A-cero room, named “Spectaular Seashells”. This room is quite possibly our favourite room, although it’s a tough call… A-cero is an innovative architectural design firm, based in Spain. Founded by Joaquin Torres and Rafael llamazares, A-cero has become one of the leading forces in Spain for contemporary architecture and cutting-edge design. You can quickly see why when you look at the precise attention to detail in this room. Sweeping, curvaceous design lines, representing giant seashells, are present throughout the room in the furniture, wall panels and ceilings. The colour palette is one of calming white and sandy tones to accentuate the seaside theme. Inserted into the floor, are see-through glass panels with water droplet impressions that hover above a stream of water below. The “Spectacular Seashells” room is so brilliantly imaginative, we didn’t want to leave!

The other rooms in Iniala are just as impressive. The “Russian Matryoshka Doll” inspired rooms are designed by Lana Grineva of PH.D [Philosophy Of Design]. This bedroom and living area complete the other half of Villa Bianca.

Villa Siam is a unique fusion of contemporary and traditional design created by Thai designer, Eggarat Wongcharit. Eggarat’s design philosophy takes inspiration from Buddhism’s four natural elements; earth, wind, fire and water. Eggarat has created two beautiful bedrooms for Iniala, called “Cocoons” and “Lotus Flowers”. In Villa Siam, the beautiful living and dining area opens into its own private day spa. The “Golden Bell Spa” is covered from floor to ceiling in gold. In this case, only a picture can proficiently describe its magnificence.

The Collector’s Villa is a thing of extraordinary beauty. Created by a portfolio of top designers from around the world. Including Fernando and Humberto Campina from Brazil, Joseph Walsh from Ireland, Jaime Hayon from Spain and Mark Brazier-Jones from New Zealand, who also designed several furnishings for the movie, “50 Shades Of Grey”.

The Penthouse Villa has been created by Iniala’s very own architect, Graham Lamb and is typically the best room in the house. However, all of the villas each have their own spectacular views of the ocean and private pool. Not to mention, the same luxurious living standard with access to your own driver, butler, chef, spa therapist and housekeeper. By staying in one of Iniala Suite’s, you will receive complimentary wi-fi, continental breakfasts, airport transfers, in-room dining, non-alcoholic drinks, 1-hour massage or spa treatment per person per day and your choice to do any of the many activities on offer at Iniala, including Yoga, Pilates, Boot Camp, Personal Training, Thai Boxing, Cycling, Kayaking, Day-trips and the list goes on. The amount of value this resort offers to it’s guests makes their stay that much more relaxing. Not having to pay for each activity every day, takes away the stress of deciding how to spend your time. It is luxury at its finest.

During our stay at Iniala, we also had the pleasure of dining at 3-Michelan-star gastronomy restaurant, Aziamendi, which is conveniently situated on the resort grounds. Aziamendi has been specially created for Iniala by Eneko Atxa, founder of the famous spanish restuaurant, Azurmendi, which is in fact rated number 26 in the world. Whilst dining at Aziamendi, we were taken behind the scenes to the kitchen to see where all the magic happens. We met and chatted with head chef, Alex Burger, who is originally from New York. It was an extremely special meal that we will never forget. Gastronomy is an acquired taste however. If you prefer a menu that caters specifically to your personal tastes, then Iniala’s in-house dining menu is absolutely delectable. The presentation and flavours they achieve is incredible and the menu is open-ended, in order to accommodate guest requests.

We could go on forever about how good Iniala is. However, one more aspect we must make mention of is the amazing Kid’s Hotel. This space is the crème de la crème of children’s accommodation. We’re talking 5-star luxury for kids. The Iniala Kid’s Hotel brings your child’s imagination to life. The sleeping quarters are set-up in tree-houses and caves. The play area has it’s own stage, a wardrobe full of dress-up outfits, tons of games and two televisions. Each child receives their own dressing gown, slippers, and activity backpack filled with goodies. There is even a separate boys and girls bathroom, each designed accordingly. The child carers are there to cater to your child’s every need and the food menu is of course child-friendly. We were told by the staff that many of the children never want to leave, which we imagine would provide a refreshing break for parents staying at Iniala.

We’ve given Iniala a rating of 10, but if there was an option to give them an 11 out of 10, we would. The customer service we received from the entire Iniala staff was possibly the best we’ve ever received. Their attention to detail, knowledge and expertise is at the highest level you could imagine. It’s no surprise that their guests come back time and time again.

If you are looking for luxury Thailand resorts, unmatched for their unique experience, then Iniala is most definitely one to add to your bucket list. With top of the range design, architecture, customer service and gastronomy, Iniala is a place you will not find anywhere else in Thailand and quite possibly the world.
