Emily Highfield, Founder and Editor of STYLEBK, has been working as a Designer in the Fashion Industry since 2006. Based in Melbourne, Australia, she has worked within some highly recognised Australian fashion brands, including YEOJIN BAE, WHITE SUEDE AND WITCHERY.
Since February 2014, Emily has worked on STYLEBK in a full time capacity. She has been the driving force behind its evolution as an Australian fashion blog and has seen STYLEBK grow from a self-managed blog into a family of fashion contributors, photographers and creatives.
Among the brands that STYLEBK has collaborated with are THURLEY, MATICEVSKI, YEOJIN BAE, PEGGY HARTANTO, GINGER & SMART, THE ICONIC, BEC & BRIDGE, ALICE McCALL, EMPORIUM, QV, EASTLAND, DAVID JONES, HOLDEN, MAZDA, NAPOLEON PERDIS, MECCA COSMETICA, GUINOT AUSTRALIA and International brands, AVELON and KARL LAGERFELD.
STYLEBK has travelled to and covered Luxury resorts all over the world and within Australia. STYLEBK continues to grow and expand it’s Lifestyle categories Travel, Interiors, Eats and Wellness and has fast become a destination hub for minimal style hunters that want to be inspired to style their life from beginning to end.
Publications that Emily Highfield has been featured in to date include VOGUE, HARPERS BAZAAR, GRAZIA, ELLE, THE HERALD SUN, FASHION JOURNAL, COMPLETE WEDDING and COSMOPOLITAN. She has been photographed at several Australian events including MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK, VIRGIN AUSTRALIA MELBOURNE FASHION FESTIVAL and Melbourne’s CAULFIELD and FLEMINGTON RACING CARNIVALS.
In 2015, Emily was flown to LONDON FASHION WEEK by RIVER ISLAND and she appeared in several publications, including HARPERS BAZAAR UK.
In conjunction with managing STYLEBK full time, Emily is also the designer and co-director of a new concept sportswear label, HUNTR, which has had mention in both THE AGE and SYDNEY MORNING HERALD as a brand to watch alongside KIT X and M.J.BALE.
